Youth and Family Support Skills Training – From a Lived and Living Experience perspective of Alcohol and Other Drug Use

This co-designed and co-facilitated training provides a range of insights and practical strategies from a youth and family lived and living experience perspective including:

Harm Reduction Supports
– Current drug facts and trends in WA
– Exploring the access of illicit and prescription drug use
– Supporting intoxicated individuals

Lived and Living Experience Informed Supports for Families and Significant Others
– Tools to empower and support families with a child seeking alcohol and other drug treatment
– Engaging and supporting young people
– Adolescent development
– Communication skills
– Self-care

This unique training displays what individuals can do when navigating treatment and support options, as well as what services can do to best support their clients.
This is a full day training, best delivered in person.
