MHAOD Strategy 2025-2023: Alcohol and Other Drugs Survey

The AODCCC is providing feedback to the WA Mental Health Commission on the Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs Strategy 2025-2030 Discussion Paper.

As part of our submission we are gathering feedback from our members through a variety of consultations, and to support and strengthen our submission we have developed an alcohol and other drugs focused SURVEY which can be completed by anyone with an interest in the area and something to say in relation to alcohol and other drugs in WA.

This survey is available to the general public, so even if you’re not a member of the AODCCC you can still provide your input!

If you would like to have your say, please access the survey HERE or via the button below.

Feedback in response to the discussion paper will be used to shape how the State Government understands what the community wants from alcohol and other drug service systems, what is needed within the system and what should be prioritised to achieve the best outcomes for all Western Australians over the next five years.

We strongly believe that by including alcohol and other drug lived and living experiences, we can provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of current services and highlight areas needing improvement. This can also help by identifying practical solutions and initiatives that have a meaningful impact on individuals and their communities.

Whilst we acknowledge the strong connection with mental health and other significant intersecting priorities, this survey will focus on the alcohol and other drug aspects of the Strategy only.
