Recovery College Information Session
The WA Recovery College Alliance (WARCA) is one of over eighty colleges across the world that provide an educational pathway to wellbeing for students experiencing mental health challenges and/or alcohol and other drug use. By using an educational approach to recovery, WARCA courses enable individuals to recognise and develop their own skills to find the most meaning, connection and enjoyment in day-to-day life.
This state-wide College provides opportunities for the community to learn about recovery related to mental health, substance use or other life challenges.
All WARCA courses are free, recovery-based, and designed by community for community. They cover a variety of topics ranging from “Thriving with Adult ADHD” to “Navigating life with a Criminal Record” and “Sound Healing”, but all have the common goal of providing students with the knowledge and tools to find the most meaning, confidence and enjoyment in day-to-day life. Everyone aged 18 and over is welcome.
